AKASHA, LAS DALIAS CLUB OPENS ITS DOORS AGAIN WITH SASHA
This weekend, Akasha, Las Dalias Club, opens its doors again for a new season that promises to continue calling renowned DJs and music promoters who bring to Ibiza the most original and artistic proposals of the international electronic scene.
On Friday, February 25, the opening features a special performance by Sasha, who visits Akasha for the second time. The 2022 season begins with an exclusive session of this great musical talent, in a booth very close to his audience with Igor Marijuán, Musical Director of the house.
The opening weekend continues on Saturday 26th with Viken Arman, who comes from making sessions of great impact at Burning Man and who belongs to that generation of artists who through electronic music take us to the roots of cultures and initiatory civilizations, to rescue their spiritual value. For Viken Arman his sessions have the mission to recover the folklore of that ancestral musical past and bring it to the present with a style that is not only warm but also very original.
The other great protagonist of this night is Robbie Akbal, a veteran of the organic house scene of Tulum - who now resides in Berlin - whose career is marked by a musical style that proposes a real journey into musical landscapes of different cultures with dreamlike melodies, organic sounds and percussion with tribal rhythms and textures.
The grand opening weekend closes on Sunday with another edition of Ethereal Art Lab Festival. From 12h, Las Dalias brings together the widest range of artists, performances, DJs, live music and photography exhibitions. At 6pm, this ritual moves to the Akasha room with a special session by Michel Cleis, Iban Mendoza (live), Maricha, Medusa Odyssey (live) and Edoardo Marvaso.
In the list of confirmed artists Akasha has the pleasure to invite big names of electronic music such as Nick Warren, Behrouz, Roy Rosenfeld, Unders, Mimi Love, LUM, Super Flu, Facundo Mohrr, Francesca Lombardo, Amonita, Jo.Ke, Newman (I Love), Yamil, Powel among others.
This year the club brings for the first time to the island The Gardens of Babylon and also continues with a strong commitment to the Holotropia event created by Ida Engberg and Filipa Lazary, among other great exponents of music, performance art and film.
Akasha continues to count on the participation of the now classic promoters of the summers in Las Dalias as Namasté and Ethereal making synergy between the essence that is breathed during the day in the restaurant of the Garden with the room of the club at night.
Akasha's opening hours are from Friday to Saturday from 11pm and Sundays from 6pm, with a support ticket of 20 euros.
Akasha is a space to remember the sound of the cosmos, because music is the voice of the soul.
