Elisabeth de Tigny Mourot: The New Heartbeat of Gstaad

āAmong the snow-capped peaks of the Swiss Alps, where luxury is usually quiet and traditional, a figure has emerged who combines sophistication with a vibrant and transformative energy.
We travelled to Gstaad to experience the work of Elisabeth de Tigny Mourot, an entrepreneur who not only understands the environment, but makes it dance.
Gstaad has always been synonymous with exclusivity, but what we have experienced these days goes beyond the conventional label.
Invited by Elisabeth de Tigny Mourot, our stay in the Alps became a journey of sensations where the alpine landscape was only the backdrop to something much deeper: hospitality with soul.
ā
Apres-Ski has a new name
Our diary marked an unmissable event: the Apres-Ski event designed by Elisabeth.
What we found was an electric atmosphere.
As the sun set behind the white mountains, the energy began to rise.
Elisabeth has managed to introduce a distinguishing factor that the region was calling for: a blend of human warmth, boundless joy and a musical selection that acts as the common thread of unforgettable moments.
ā
It's not just music; it's a transfer of energy.
Seeing Elisabeth interact with her guests is to understand the success of her proposal. Her charisma acts as a catalyst, transforming an elegant gathering into a celebration of life. It is, in essence, the missing piece of the puzzle in Gstaad.
Face to face with positive energy
We had the privilege of sitting down with her for an intimate interview. Up close, Elisabeth is exactly what she projects: pure positive energy. As an entrepreneur, she has been able to read the needs of a demanding audience that no longer seeks only excellent service, but also an emotional connection.
‘The setting is perfect, but perfection without joy is static’ seems to be the invisible motto that guides her steps. During our conversation, we could sense that clear vision of someone who knows that true luxury today is time shared with joy and authenticity.
ā
A formidable experience
ā
Spending these days in her company and enjoying her hospitality has been, quite simply, wonderful. We leave Gstaad with our eyes full of snow, but our hearts full of the vitality that Elisabeth de Tigny Mourot brings to everything she touches. She has created a concept where there was none before, and she has done so with the elegance of someone who knows their craft and the passion of someone who loves what they do.

1 -Ibiza Bpm Radio.- Elisabeth, if your life were an electronic music session, what genre would it be: a gentle Deep House sunrise or a full-throttle Progressive House peak time?
Elisabeth : I feel that my life is already an electronic music session but it would be A progressive house melodic hypnotic sensual rythmic track . For sure
With its up beats and down beats
2 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- You've taken the party to the top of the Swiss Alps... What's the secret to keeping people dancing even in sub-zero temperatures?
Elisabeth : It’s all about the energy, not the temperature. First of all it’s the crowd that makes the vibe, a close and eclectic community, and a shared passion that brings people together and I always need Non-commercial music.
When you’re dancing on a mountain under the stars, surrounded by incredible views and the right people, the cold disappears—you’re just fully in the moment.
3 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- You founded ELART prod and are co-founder of Caprices at Gstaad. If you had to choose a musical ‘anthem’ that represents your entrepreneurial spirit, what would be playing in the background?
Elisabeth : So i actually have 2 tracks : The words and rythm in the tracks
-
The summit by BRAXTON
-
Explosive by BOXER

4 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.-Your events take place in exceptional locations. What has been the most ‘magical’ or surreal moment you've experienced watching the sunset in the mountains with a DJ set in the background?
Elisabeth : One of the most surreal moments was during the very first Caprices, Caprice in Gstaad 2023 . inside the yurt. I could not have imagined that thanks to the Caprice Crans Team we were actually doing this event only a short 5 months after I had decided to start a festival with my friend Tristan .
ā
Being surrounded by DJs whose music deeply moved me music that genuinely made me feel alive created an atmosphere that was intimate and almost timeless.
Standing behind the DJ booth where I was watching everyone unite in that space, I suddenly realized that our pulses were all beating on the same frequency. It felt like a form of communion—music dissolving boundaries between people, creating a shared emotional state. That collective connection, in such a organic and unexpected setting, is an incredibly powerful moment and one I’ll never forget.
5 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- You say you are passionate about discovering new talent around the world. What is that ‘je ne sais quoi’ that an artist must have for you to say, ‘I want them for ELART’?
Elisabeth : It’s something you can’t really intellectualize. The music has to go straight to my blood and my heart—I need to feel it in my gut.
Sometimes it happens unexpectedly: in a club, at a festival, or even while discovering an artist listening to music while I work at home, on Spotify or Apple Music. (I listen to music all day in continuous) If it stops me, if it makes me feel something immediately, then I know that it is someone I want for ELART prod .
For me, it’s always been about sharing sound and rhythm. That’s my driving force.
For ex : Natalie Wamba In Ibiza. āI was with my husband in Ibiza at a very local party in las Dalias s club and the second she took the booth and started to mix and sing I was overwhelmed .. something in my guts , my heart , my blood just overtook me.. it’s was instantaneous . Like love at first sight , I felt her vibe immediately , so I went up to her after her set and asked her a few questions and we just hit it off .. and she s my lucky star .. in many senses..

6 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- Imagine you are organising the event of your dreams and you have no limits: in what remote corner of the planet would you set up your next DJ booth?
ā
Elisabeth : Difficult question,
Elisabeth : I am actually living my dream right here in GSTAAD .
This is a home for me as I grew up going to boarding school here since I am 13 years old .. so Its a very special place for me
with many of my friends here, people and souvenirs
So to be able to have made my dream come true which was to create an electo music event here is what I dreamed of .
Of course I could think of other amazing place as I lived in NY , Paris, and Ibiza and all those places would be a dream as well .
ā
NY is a place close to my heart as I worked in film production for 15 years
So it has formatted me in many ways : professionally, socially, esthetically, and in my personal life as well since my first son was born in NEW YORK ..
the dynamic vibe and the electricity that NY gives is a fuel to my life .
so let’s see what the future holds ..
āāā
I feel like I’m truly living a dream here in Gstaad .
ā
This place is so much more than just a location for me… It’s home .
ā
I grew up coming years since I was 13 when I went to boarding school Gstaad holds a very special place in my heart- it’s filled with memories, friendship, familiar faces, and so many meaningful moments..
ā
And to be able today to make my dream come true — creating an electronic music event here — is incredibly emotional for me. It’s something I’ve imagined for a long time.
Of course, I’ve lived in other amazing places like New York, Paris, and Ibiza, and each of them carries its own magic. Bringing my events to those cities would also feel like a dream.
But New York, especially, is very close to my heart. I worked there in film production for 15 years, and it shaped and formatted me in so many ways — professionally, socially, aesthetically, and personally. My first son was even born there.
ā
The energy of New York… that constant electricity and movement… it has always been a source of inspiration and fuel in my life.
So now, standing here in Gstaad, bringing music, emotion, and people together in such a meaningful place… it feels like a full-circle moment.
And honestly…
I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

7 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- The concept of ‘après-ski’ has changed a lot with you. For you, what is more important: the perfect cocktail, the setting or the connection between people on the dance floor?
Elisabeth : For me, it’s never about only one thing—it’s about a mix
Between people , the music and the vibe the artist/ dj creates, combined with the energy each person brings. What really matters is the passion in the room and the sense of communion between everyone living the moment together, moving to the music as one.
ā
The music has to be intense, groovy, and organic - non - commercial tracks that come straight from the soul and the gut. The setting matters too, and for me, there’s nothing like open-air in the mountains. That’s why the communion on the dance floor becomes so powerful—I often ski with music in my ears and that makes me feel connected .
8 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- You manage premium, high-end events, but I'm sure there are some funny anecdotes or behind-the-scenes bloopers that no one would ever imagine... Can you share any with us?
Elisabeth : Well the amazing thing that happens every single time is that the day before the event you think that it will never be ready for the opening and at the end everything comes together. It’s such a team effort and I’m thankful to be surrounded by such professionals .
ā
9 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- Why did you choose Gstaad for your events, both Caprices, which is a larger format, and Elart, which is more of a petit committee?
Elisabeth : I grew up in Gstaad, attending a very small international boarding school from the age of 13, so the place has always been close to my heart. Three years ago, after breaking my leg in January 2023 for the third time, I found myself feeling low and frustrated—I needed a change. I’ve always lived by one motto: turn something bad into something good.
ā
So That’s when I decided to make a change . I reached out to my friend from boarding school, Tristan , who was already in contact with the Caprices team in Crans and as he’s always ready for something new and different and out of the box together with other local partners we brought Caprices to Gstaad Just 6 months later, thanks to the incredible work of the CAPRICES team and of his founder Maxim Leonard, we were hosting our first event here with the entire caprices crans team .
ā
For me, Gstaad is more than a location, it’s a community and not at all what people imagine.
I started the event at Eggli in Gstaad because I felt something was missing: a true après-ski moment where everyone could come together. There was no space where the whole ski station could simply meet, unwind, and enjoy the moment as one. I wanted to create a free entrance event for the locals who work here, those who live here all year round, those who come back for the holidays, and the tourists discovering Gstaad — all united in the same place at the top of the mountain .

10 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- If you could define Elisabeth de Tigny-Mourot's vibe in just three words, which ones would you choose to let the world know you?
Elisabeth : very difficult for me to answer and you should ask someone who knows me but if you ask they would probably say:
ā
-
Intensity
-
Need for Sharing the music ( which is my fuel )
-
Out of the box / eclectic
11 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- Ibiza BPM Radio, together with DJ and producer Paul Ross, will be part of Elart for the first time in 2026, broadcasting to more than 150 countries. It's very exciting! What do you hope to achieve with this massive exposure?
Elisabeth : for me Spain and Ibiza has a special meaning and connecting Ibiza BPM Radio with my events in Gstaad is a dream
ā
I hope that this exposure will inspire people to be part of the energy and the moment we create at Elart. I want them to come, share the experience, discover new sounds, meet new DJs, and feel sensations they haven’t felt before.
It’s about connecting people through music and creating moments that stay with them long after the event ends.
I also hope that new talents will reach out to me so that we can share their music on the radio and make them known . They are so many great artists it’s sometimes sad to think that they are not more heard by the public .
12 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- Will we be able to see Elart in the summer season somewhere el se in the world?
Elisabeth : I have a few projects in line but it’s work in progress for now .. but I was proposed a few spots .. an event in Geneva ..
it’s all in the clouds ..
ā
13 - Ibiza Bpm Radio.- Do you have any idea of the reach you will have with your parties when you start the weekly radio programme on Ibiza BPM Radio?
Elisabeth : No expectations beside sharing the music…
and to create a circle of followers and music lovers who will hook to the ELART prod. Vibe...
