We have the great pleasure of spending a few minutes with Enrique Aranda, General Manager of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Barcelona, winner of the award for best urban hotel at the Roca Awards for Hotel Initiative, who gives us an update on the hotel's services, its history, anecdotes and professional career.
With a kind and calm attitude, patient and gentle, he kindly waits for us to begin the interview.
Under a scorching heat and prior to his departure from his long awaited holiday to disconnect, he attends us with great kindness and we begin the interview.
He tells us in detail about the history of the old hotel, the Hotel Sofia, named after the Queen when she was still a princess, the adjoining farmhouse that still stands majestically at the foot of the Grand Hyatt, all its corners, anecdotes and allusions to the history of the Barcelona of his adolescence.
He takes us on a verbally stimulating journey through all the spaces of the hotel, cared for in the smallest detail, always emphasising the care that the Grand Hyatt provides to its clients and employees, who in his own words are, A BIG FAMILY
I leave you with this fascinating interview and interesting stories told in first person.
Thanks to Enrique, the Grand Hyatt and its magnificent team!
