On the last day of MADRID FUSION  we met and interviewed Juanma Blasco, owner of the Entrufados brand, who told us in a simple and quick way about the world of truffles and his company, Starting with the history of his family, Juanma Blasco and Javier Blasco , two brothers behind TrufaMás and creators of the Entrufados brand.

Their passion for Trufficulture did not come out of nowhere; it was cultivated with love and dedication by their parents who started this adventure in 1998. From an early age, they have learned all about the art of growing and harvesting truffles, walking with them through the fields of holm oaks and truffles that they themselves planted. 

 

Their experience and knowledge have guided them and continue to this day to be their greatest treasure. He tells us how the dogs are experts in “hunting truffles”, an expression that left me stunned because I did not know that truffles were hunted and tells us that accompanied by their three dogs Kira, Noa and Pitusa go hunting, Kira being the youngest and Pitusa the veteran and most expert hunter of the group, Noa also being a super dog in these tasks.
