SUNWAVES 2025 A Golden Farewell with Views of Eternity

The curtain has fallen on SUNWAVES, but the echoes of its final day will resonate far beyond the tents of the festival. The 2025 edition bid farewell with a closing ceremony that exceeded all expectations, not only for the quality of its lineup, but also for the spectacular connection between the audience and the artists, which rose to an almost mystical level. What we experienced last night was not just a concert, it was a communion.
From the first chords of the evening, the atmosphere was charged with tangible energy. The audience, a melting pot of generations united by their love of music, became a human tide moving in unison. There were no barriers, only a collective understanding. The knowing smiles, spontaneous hugs, and songs sung at the top of their lungs showed that SUNWAVES is much more than a festival; it is a life experience, a meeting point for kindred spirits.
The emotional climax came with the performances of the headliners. Each artist, aware of the magnitude of the moment, gave their soul on stage. The thunderous cheers and standing ovations were not only a show of gratitude, but a tribute to the passion and talent that overflowed from the stage. The cries of “Another one, another one!” multiplied until the voice was lost in the immensity, sealing an unwritten pact between those who created the magic and those who received it.

The tears of emotion, both in the audience and among some of the musicians, showed that the line between the professional and the human and memorable had been crossed. It was in those moments of shared vulnerability that the true identity of this edition was forged.
At dawn, as the lights slowly faded, the prevailing feeling was not one of sadness at the end, but of euphoria and deep gratitude. The desire to return was already palpable in the atmosphere, in the conversations of people who, with shining eyes, wondered, “What will next year bring?”
SUNWAVES 2025 has left an indelible mark. It has shown that, in a world saturated with offerings, the true value proposition lies in creating genuine experiences, in human connection, and in the power of music to heal and unite. If you haven't had this experience yet, it's time to mark SUNWAVES on your calendar. The festival awaits you to write the next chapter of this story that has only just begun.

The Sunwaves Festival, held in Roquetas de Mar for the second consecutive year, has left an economic impact of more than €2.7 million, consolidating itself as a leading cultural, social, and tourist event in the area. According to the economic, social, and cultural impact report of the Sunwaves 36 Festival, more than 3,500 people from 50 countries attended the event, generating a direct impact of more than two and a half million euros for the municipality. Ninety-two percent of attendees were foreign tourists, demonstrating the festival's international reach.
The event also led to the creation of 100 temporary jobs in hospitality, security, and transportation, benefiting small local businesses. In terms of media coverage, the festival achieved visibility on leading platforms and media such as Ibiza Bpm Radio, Instagram, and Tik Tok, with an estimated reach of more than 2.5 million people and 5.5 million views, increasing online mentions of Roquetas de Mar by 45%.

But beyond the numbers, the last day of the festival was full of great artists and surprises, highlighted by the performance of the legendary Dubfire. The artist, who is reviving his Deep Dish project with Sharam, has been promoting new talent through his label, which added special value to his performance.
The night reached its climax with the trio of young producers Mason Collective from Manchester, whose fresh and raw house sound drove the arena wild.
In addition, a big surprise was the experience on Stage 2, which stood out for the pure, underground sound of Romanian artists such as Suciu, Cenar, and Rhadoo, who demonstrated their know-how and left a great impression on the audience.
“Finally, Ibiza BPM Radio is very proud to have been part of this great project in an unparalleled setting where camaraderie, passion for music, great energy, extreme cleanliness, and wonderful organization reign supreme.”
Its team, always attentive and willing to help, showed exceptional dedication, “earning a ‘nota mil!’ as they say in Brazil.”
